Migrating from Another App
The value of your history grows with its length — trends across a season are only visible to those who have the season in the app. That’s why the one-time move pays off: collect your old results once, and afterwards everything lives in one place. This page shows the route for the most common sources.
From the DISAG ShotsApp
Screenshots are enough: the overview plus one screenshot per series, all uploaded together — Ring Reader assembles series and groups from them. Capture long result lists as a scroll capture (Android) or with a stitching app like Picsew (iPhone). Details under Capturing app screenshots completely.
From WM-Shot
Your league history sits in .wmk/.mdb files. You get them from the league organizer — or directly via URL if your club hosts the files online: enter the address once, and every import after that is one click. See Importing Results.
From Meyton systems
- Result PDFs you may already have collected (via QR code or email) — just upload them on the Import page.
- For the complete history, ask the range official for an XML or CSV export — it carries the full shot pattern.
- Printed result sheets from the binder: just photograph them.
From the paper binder
- Printouts (Meyton, DISAG, SIUS, SETA & co.): photograph them — the Capture page recognizes the format automatically. What to watch for is covered in Scan a Target.
- Kept targets: photograph them too — they’re scored just like freshly shot ones.
- Handwritten results without a document go in via manual entry.
What carries over
Every result keeps its original date, as long as the source contains one — so your history stays chronologically correct. How much a format brings along (rings only, rings + Teiler, or the complete shot pattern with coordinates) is shown in Supported Formats. Manually entered series don’t count in Competitions — for your history and statistics they count in full.
Do the migration in one go: one evening, the binder, a pot of coffee. Important: use photos in original quality — images forwarded via messengers are often compressed too heavily for detection.
