Training & Notes Plus

This feature requires Plus or Pro.

On the result page you can add training details to every series. This builds your digital training log.

Choosing the training type

At the top of the result page you’ll find four buttons. Tap the one that fits:

  • Training — regular club or practice shooting
  • Competition — a championship or friendly match
  • Dry fire — dry-fire training without live ammunition
  • Sight-in — trial shots to warm up

The buttons are mutually exclusive. Only one can be active at a time.

Opening more details

Tap “More details” to expand the full form. It has three sections and several input fields.

Record training — feelings and technique

How did it feel?

Rate four aspects of your inner state on a scale from 1 to 5:

  • Energy — how fit and alert you felt
  • Focus — how well you could concentrate
  • Confidence — how sure of yourself you felt while shooting
  • Stress — how tense or nervous you were

Just tap the points. 1 = low, 5 = high.

How was your technique?

Here too you rate four aspects from 1 to 5:

  • Position — how stable your shooting position was
  • Trigger — how cleanly you released the trigger
  • Follow-through — how well you held after the shot
  • Rhythm — how even your shooting rhythm was

How were the conditions?

  • Indoor / outdoor — use the toggle to choose whether you shot indoors or outdoors
  • Temperature — enter the temperature in °C
  • Humidity — enter the humidity in %

Record training — conditions, weapon, location and notes

Weapon and location

  • Weapon — a searchable text field. If you’ve saved weapons in Settings, they appear as suggestions.
  • Location — a searchable text field. Saved locations appear as suggestions as well.

Notes

A free text field for anything you want to record. The placeholder reads “What went well? What to work on?” — write down whatever helps you.

Collapsing the details

Tap “Less details” to collapse the form again. Your entries stay saved.

The more details you record, the better you’ll spot patterns. Do you shoot worse under high stress? Does indoor make a difference? Your training log will tell you.

Technique notes

In the Notes area (reachable from the bottom navigation) you can keep long-term technique notes per weapon — for example sight settings, position tips or equipment changes.

  • Select a weapon: At the top you’ll find pill buttons for each saved weapon. Tap a weapon to open its notes.
  • Write notes: Write in the Markdown editor. Supported: bold (**text**), italic (*text*), lists and headings.
  • Preview: Switch between editing and preview to see the formatted text.
  • Auto-save: Your notes are saved as soon as you leave the editor.

Training diary

The Diary tab in the Notes area shows a chronological overview of all the series notes you’ve written on the result page.

  • Entries are grouped by month with date, series type, result and weapon.
  • The view is read-only — to edit, open the series in question.
  • Use the weapon filter to show only entries for a particular weapon.

Series notes (short, situation-specific) and technique notes (long-term, per weapon) complement each other. Use both to improve your training in a targeted way.
